So B2ST: Perjalanan Karir dari B2ST



Kapanlagi.com - B2ST yang terdiri dari Dong Woon, Jun Hyung, Gi Kwang, Hyun Seung, Yo Seop dan Du Jun merupakan salah satu boy band yang diperhitungkan di kancah permusikan Korea Selatan. Lagu-Lagu dari B2ST tak jarang menduduki posisi pertama di chart-chart musik Korea. Performa B2ST selalu ditunggu-tunggu para fansnya. B2ST juga mempunyai fans terbanyak no. 4 di Fan café bersama TVXQ, SNSD, dan Big Bang. Mereka menjadi salah satu ikon musik Korea dan membawakan Hallyu Wave di luar Korea. B2ST
Pada Awal debutnya, B2ST disebut-sebut sebagai "Recycle Group" dan menerima banyak cacian. Itulah yang membuat B2ST berusaha untuk terus memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas. Pada bulan Oktober, di KBS 'Music Bank', mereka debut dengan lagu Bad Girl dari mini album pertama, "BEAST is The B2ST". Mini album ini terjual hingga 40.000 kopi (hal yang jarang bagi grup pendatang baru yang biasanya hanya terjual 20.000 kopi). Meskipun begitu, pada awal debut, banyak orang sangsi dengan kualitas musik mereka.

B2ST
Pada album keduanya, yang berjudul Shock of The New Era tahun 2010, B2ST sudah mulai mendapat respons. Langkah awal sukses B2ST pun dimulai dari album ini.
Lagu andalan mereka, Shock, memenangkan peringkat pertama untuk pertama kalinya di Mnet 'M! Countdown'. Mereka menerima sertifikat dan Golden Disk Award dari Singapura, Malaysia, dan Thailand di Seoul. B2ST juga menerima penghargaan Cool Star Award di 2010 Mnet 20's Choice Awards. Lalu, mereka dianugerahi penghargaan Best Newcomer bersama dengan T-ara dan After School di Seoul Music Awards ke-19 pada Februari 2010. Akhir Tahun 2010, B2ST mengadakan konser pertama mereka di Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Seoul yang berjudul "Welcome To The B2ST Airline" dan dihadiri 10.000 penggemar. Konser ini menjadi konser paling ingin didatangi.
Kemudian pada pertengahan 2011, B2ST mengeluarkan album resmi pertama mereka, "Fiction & Fact". Inilah yang membuat B2ST meraih masa keemasan. Melalui album ini, B2ST menerima penghargaan Song of The Year dan Artist of The Year pada tahun 2011. Tak hanya itu, B2ST juga dideskripsikan sebagai salah satu idola pop berbakat di Korea yang memiliki kemampuan vokal baik.
Usahanya yang sangat gigih membuat B2ST bisa memetik hasilnya seperti sekarang. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan angka fancafe (situs resmi penghitungan fans boy band dan girl band di Korea) yang diraih B2ST menembus 231.000 lebih dan menempati posisi ke-4 di Korea.

Menurut fan meeting di Jepang, mereka punya gaya tidur yang cukup unik. Yoseob, ia punya dua posisi tidur andalan, pertama ia menjepit kedua tangannya di antara kakinya dan kedua, ia selalu tidur di pinggir tembok. Sedangkan Doojoon, tidur selalu menghadap samping. Junhyung dan Hyunseung bila tidur, hanya pakai, pakaian dalam saja. Kalau Gikwang, harus tidur dengan sesuatu yang bisa dipeluknya, bila tidak ada yang bisa dipeluk, maka Junhyung-lah yang jadi sasarannya. Nah untuk Dongwoon, dialah yang tidurnya paling terbilang normal.

10 Autumn in Korea

Perjalanan Tiara selama di Seoul dimulai pada musim gugur dan diawali dengan pandangan pertama pada seorang pria berkacamata yang mirip Lee Donghae Super Junior di sebuah kafe dekat apartemennya. Tiara yang tidak percaya pada cinta pandangan pertama memilih mengabaikan perasaan ketertarikannya itu. Tapi seiring berjalannya waktu dan kedekatan mereka, cinta itu perlahan-lahan tumbuh. Dengan latar belakang kota Seoul di musim gugur, sepuluh cerita manis itu terangkai.

Siwon dan Donghae Super Junior Tanda Tangan Sampai Subuh untuk 'Skip Beat'


owKeren.com - Promosi serial Taiwan "Skip Beat" rupanya tak mau main-main. Para bintangnya, termasuk dan , juga turut bekerja keras untuk mempromosikan serial ini. Bayangkan saja, kedua personil ini harus memberikan tanda tangan untuk fans hingga subuh.

Dalam rangkaian acara promosi serial "Skip Beat", keduanya juga harus menghadiri konferensi pers dan tujuh jadwal program di televisi. Setelah kembali ke hotel mereka pun langsung menandatangani 1400 kopi photobook untuk para fansnya.

Sebenarnya, Siwon dan Donghae bisa menandatangani buku-buku tersebut keesokan harinya. Namun karena saat itu musim hujan, Siwon dan Donghae khawatir sampul buku itu bisa rusak. Maka, mereka pun mengorbankan waktu tidurnya dan menandatangani buku-buku tersebut hingga pukul 5 pagi waktu setempat.

Kesibukan Siwon dan Donghae juga membuat keduanya tak sempat makan. Melihat hal ini, para kru pun sepakat memesankan makanan spesial untuk mereka dan langsung dikirimkan ke hotel. Untungnya setelah acara promosi itu usai keduanya bisa mencicipi makanan pedas Taiwan impian mereka dan langsung kembali ke Korea Selatan.

"Skip Beat" ditayangkan di stasiun GTV dan diproduksi dalam 13 episode. Dalam serial ini, suara Siwon dan Donghae digantikan oleh aktor-aktor asal Taiwan. Serial tersebut diisi soundtracknya oleh Super Junior-M, serta turut diperankan oleh dua aktris Taiwan, Ivy Chen dan Bianca. (wk/rs)

Korean Wave Contest

In conjunction with ‘Korea Be Inspired’ Festival 2010 and ‘Visit Korea Year 2010 – 2012’, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is organizing a Korean Wave Contest.

Korean Wave Contest final
Venue : KL Life Centre, Jalan Sultan Ismail
Date : 15th May 2010
Time : 2pm to 4pm.
Open to : All Malaysians and K-pop fans in Malaysia.

Participants are required to perform on either : Korean song, dance and impersonality show.

Participants would be judged on : Singing/dancing ability, stage performance and costume.
Participants are required to prepare their own minus one music. They can contact KTO for further assistance.

Cinderella's Stepsister on KBSWORLD


Cinderella's Stepsister is set to air on KBS WORLD on April 28th 2010! Like I've said before, this anticipated drama will air after The Slave Hunters/Chuno has wrapped up. Here's the official website for you guys.

Cinderella's Stepsister is a drama that will air on Wednesdays & Thursdays @ 9pm for Malaysia/Hong Kong, go here to find out when it airs in your country. It consists of a whopping 20 Episodes! SYNOPSIS

A modern day adaptation of Cinderella with a twist as our Cinderella, Goo Hyo Sun, plots revenge against her evil stepsister , Eun Jo for years of pain and suffering.
She has neither aspiration nor emotion and her smile is sarcastic. Eun Jo is a girl who has apathy toward life. Her mother, who has been living as a single mother for 18 years, finally found the right person to marry and brought Eun Jo into the stepfather’s house.
A decent house and a decent family…. Eun Jo feels that everything in this house does not fit for her. The most unbearable thing she faces is the stepsister Hyo Sun, who is the apple of her father’s eyes and beloved by everyone in the house. Hyo Sun also takes away the mind of Eun Jo’s mother, just like her bright and untainted character attracted all the other people. Eun Jo cannot tolerate this situation, since she lost the only one that she completely owned.
She sets her mind on getting even with Hyo Sun. Thus Eunjo thinks 'Cinderella shouldn’t be loved by her stepmother. You broke the rule! I’ll pay you back by taking away what you have and will have! But then… What should I do first?’


Character Description
(I tried to translate the best I can from the english)

Moon Geun Young as Eun Joo ("Cinderella's Stepsister")
Has a dirty way of talking, a cynical smile and no movement for the heart breaking thing. No fantasy to life. From the time of birth, she skipped babyhood, childhood, girlhood, that means, from the age of ten, she already started to sigh saying "Life is too harsh"
The reason of the no-dream, no fantasy to life was influenced by her mother’s life, which smells badly wherever she went. Her mother moved onto several men as she dreamed to be a high class lady. Eun Joo always hated that kind of life style.
She doesn't want to be involved with another person’s life, more frankly speaking, ‘The life without mother’ She thinks if her mother did not exist, she could fly more freely.

Hong Kihoon
Successor of Hungjuga which is now on the way to conglomerate. At first, it had started as a small brewery. He used to enter Daesungdoga freely as his father Hong Hansuk was a very close friend to Mr. Ku Daesung. But, as Hungjuga had grown up very fast, automatically his visits to Daesungdoga became rare. He received good education. He learned music and fine art and to not to be treated as low class family member.
He has good body and graceful face. He grew up to be a nice man who is a successor of rich family. Before starting his army service, he visited Daesungdoga for courtesy. There, he found a new face and started to love Eun Joo. But, she never treated Kihoon as a high class person.

Seo Woo as Goo Hyosun ("Cinderella")
Pretty, kind, bright girl. Only daughter of Daesungdoga. Her father, Mr. Ku Daesung, owner of Daesungdoga is like a lion to his workers. But, his face becomes gentle in front of Hyosun’s sadness or sucking up-ness (this is my word lol).
When her father ended being single, having a new mother and new sister meant there are two more people who can love her. So, she is a person who never thinks about bad things about another person. Even when the new mother and new sister harass her, from the start she never thought they ever hated her. Because to her, other people should love her.
After she knew her stepsister hated her though, she decides to start a war against her stepsister to reclaim the things which belonged to her from the first time.

Taecyeon as Han Jungwoo
A reckless simpleton who was raised by hairy Mr. Chang, 10th immoral lover of Mrs. Song Kangsook. Mrs. Song is mother of Eun Joo. (So Jungwoo's father was with Eunjo's mother before). Fat boy whose weight was almost 100Kg in his middle school age.
Nobody had cared about him, so he took care of himself. He had joined the wrestling team as the team gave him food (T^T how sweet). He moved to the baseball team when the team gave him more food (okay getting greedy lol). Food was some kind of religion to little Jungwoo. The food, which even (hairy?) Mr. Chang or Mrs. Song Kangsook never prepared for him, was served by Eun Joo.
After Eun Joo came to Mr.Chang’s home, there is a smoke of cooking. The never ending hunger was smoothed out by EunJoo. He decided to love Eun Joo who cared him. So, even after Eun Joo left, he never gave up love to Eun Joo. He decided to grow up as a nice smart man for the purpose of giving royalty to Eun Joo. Then, he came back in front of Eun Joo as a wonderful man.


*Tear, tear, cry, cry* I think Jungwoo's description is the sweetest to read about..

Anyways I know all of us have been waiting like crazy for this drama to air on KBS World, I especially can't wait! Moon Geun Young looks super crazy but really awesome and even though I'm not the biggest Hottests in the world I am so psyched about Taecyeon shedding his Beastly Image to a super sweet dude! Seriously I won't put it past me to fall for another Jihoo sunbae character, especially if he goes with a bad girl.. eek! Yall know I'm already daydreaming in my head right..

Oh Did you guys know that yesterday Xander tweet about coming to Malaysia too? He said, “To all our foreign fans! It seems like U-KISS would be going to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong for concert, showcase, etc~” I went head over heels last night. Check this out.
